Choices Supported Living is committed to providing high-quality supported accommodation for care leavers, ensuring that our responsibility for their care is reflected in the standard of our properties.
We take great care to maintain our accommodations to high standards, ensuring they are clean, well-decorated, and free from issues such as damp or mold. Comfort and a welcoming atmosphere are our top priorities.
Our properties are designed to create a safe and comfortable home for young people. Each young person is provided with their own lockable bedroom, furnished with essential items like a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a lockable cabinet for personal items. Bedrooms come with curtains or blinds and hygienic flooring, along with a desk and a chair – this may be in a quiet area of shared spaces if necessary.
At Choices, we recognize that a nurturing and supportive environment is crucial for our young residents' well-being. Our shared areas are thoughtfully designed to ensure their comfort.
We have created a cozy living room with comfortable seating and a TV, providing a welcoming space for relaxation and social time where young people can connect, unwind, and share moments together. Our well-equipped kitchen features a dining area, encouraging everyone to prepare and enjoy meals together, which fosters connections and a sense of belonging.
To prioritize privacy and comfort, each of our homes includes lockable bathrooms. Additionally, we offer laundry facilities to make everyday tasks easier, promoting independence in taking care of their belongings.
Residents also have access to computers, Wi-Fi, and a telephone to stay connected. In some of our homes, we’ve included outdoor spaces where residents can unwind, enjoy nature, and find peace. This thoughtfully designed environment supports their growth and helps cultivate a strong sense of community.
